IT部門と現場ユーザーが一体となったシステムの改革に取り組んでいます。従来はグループ内のシステム開発・運用を専門とする企業にシステム開発やIT運用に関する業務をほぼすべて委託してきました。しかし、よりスピード感をもって現場の声を反映し、事業の実態に即したシステムを整備していくために、オリックス不動産は現在自社のIT部門の拡充・強化を推進しています。
重要なのは事例踏襲主義にならないこと。不動産業界やIT業界が過去に実施してきたことに追従するだけでは、技術の進歩に伴ってすぐにシステムが旧式化してしまいます。先駆的に技術を先取りし、実装していく挑戦を続けていきたいと考えています。
