We have joined the logistics facility development business after dealing with logistics facilities by a building lease in 2002, and has invested in and developed 43 facilities (as of the end of March, 2021) mainly in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. We provide high value-added logistics facilities by selecting sites that are convenient for transportation, easy to secure human resources, and sites that offer efficient facility design.
Supporting Various Needs of Customers
We are developing businesses focusing on BTS-type facilities that have been customized specifically for each customer and multi-tenant facilities designed to accommodate multiple customers. We also respond to the various needs of customers, with "Sale and Leaseback" for customers who wish to procure funding by utilizing their own facilities and "Leasehold plans" for those who wish to utilize their idle land.
Proposal of Solutions Representative of ORIX Group
We offer various services required in facility operation, not limited to development and construction, but also proposals for total cost reduction. We propose optimal logistics solutions tailored for the business model of each customer using various services unique to the ORIX Group, such as general equipment leasing, rental of trucks and logistics robots.
Large-scale multi-tenant type logistics facilitiy that can accommodate up to eight tenants
Matsubushi Logistics Center (Matsubushi-machi, Kitakatsushika-gun, Saitama) is a large-scale multi-tenant type logistics facility capable of accommodating up to eight tenants. Based on the concept of "promoting health while working," we aimed to create comfortable and healthy working environments and improved common areas such as fitness rooms. Emergency generators have also been installed to support a business continuity plan (BCP) while adopting the environment-friendly power-saving LED lighting.
Providing a Comfortable and Healthy Working Environment
The common areas include a cafe lounge and an outdoor terrace suitable for refreshment. The cafe lounge offers free Wi-Fi and can also be utilized as a comfortable workspace. Moreover, a fitness room equipped with fitness equipment such as treadmills and aerobic bikes flanked with a shower stall are supporting health promotion of the people working.
